Room Selection
When you decide to buy a new carpet, foremost thing needs to be in consideration is the place where you want to install a new carpet. You could choose a less hard-wearing carpet for bedrooms or guestrooms as they are less under feet. For rooms that see a lot of activities and high traffic like living room, hallway or kids game room you may choose more durable carpets or a heavy domestic rated carpet.

You need to cover the doorways with suitable doormats or rugs to avoid decorations and stains due to dirty shoes marks and heavy footfall.

How is it made?
A carpet is a textile floor covering typically consisting of an upper
layer of pile attached to a backing. The pile was traditionally
made from wool, but, since the 20th century, synthetic

fibers such as polypropylene, nylon or polyester are often used,

as these fibers are less expensive than wool.
Construction
There is a huge variety in the field of carpeting. One could easily be overwhelmed by the massive choice in construction style, weight and composition of the carpets, providing luxurious personality to your house according to you requirements.

All three aspects will help you in purchasing the best carpet that fits your needs.
Right from the start

If you have decided to lay a new carpet, make sure the process is done professionally. You would need a lifestyle carpet retailer or an experts’ advice with all the necessary tools and supplies for a long life and happy installation.

Choosing the right underlay is reasonably smart. You should invest at the best possible underlay that assures good look and which prolongs the life of your new carpet. Good quality underlay provides cushioning which feels comfortable underfoot, absorbing noise and retaining heat. It simply make way easy to clean it.

Keep it looking good:

Once your carpet is laid, it is not done. You need to be in an extensive service of intense care and cleaning for its long life.

Vacuuming your carpet regularly is the best way cleaning. It gets rid of dirt and dust that rests in loops and tufts.

Vacuuming is required to retain the original color and texture of the carpet. It is best to vacuum when the carpet is newly installed because newly laid carpet looks patchy. Vacuuming with cylindrical brush action or power brush attachment could help back in bringing the compressed tufts into its original and even appearance.

Cleaning is best done trough steam and using good quality carpet cleanser. It can be done professionally as well as personally if you have the required knowledge and equipment.

Furniture and extensive exposure to sun light fade the original color of a carpet. Some areas are overused than others, it is best to move around the furniture occasionally to avoid the loss and to balance its outlook.

Using barrier mats at the entrance will prevent the dirt to mess around.

How to care Carpet

To clean off any remaining stain use a clean damp cloth soaked

in warm water to blot the stain. Use a dabbing action with the

cloth and then blot out the remaining liquid with dry kitchen

towel. Do not rub the pile surface of your carpet or oversoak

the stain.
